Product Review: Wen

Wen is a really expensive ($30 for 30 days) but supposedly wonderful hair care line. You can find more information about it here.  It's created by Chaz Dean.  If you watch Bravo as much as I do you know that  Jeff Lewis from Flipping Out has designed his salons.  But anyway.... the website has this to say...

WEN® Cleansing Conditioner is a revolutionary new concept in hair care. A 5-in-1 formula, this one product takes the place of your shampoo, conditioner, deep conditioner, detangler and leave-in conditioner. It cleanses hair thoroughly but without lathering and all the harsh ingredients that may be found in ordinary shampoos—it is designed so it won't strip your hair and scalp of their natural oils. Your hair is left with sheen, moisture, manageability and better color retention.

My good friend Ashley has used it.  She has curly hair and she says that after she started using Wen she lets her air dry and "it's not an afro" and she doesn't have to wash it every day anymore.  Her mom has also started using it and she doesn't have to color her hair as often.  If you dye your hair it makes spending the money more worthwhile.

It's also worth noting that once you purchase it once you automatically get billed and more product shipped.  So be careful if you don't like it.  The website also offers tons of reviews, mostly good but sprinkle with a few negative things.  Overall, I would give it a try if I had more money to spare.

    Have a great hair day!
