Feather Extensions

Girls just cant get enough feathers in their hair! The trend originated in Colorado where fishing is a huge hobby and then traveled to California where all the crazy new trends begin. I was recently reading and article in USA Today saying its a summery whimsical look. I have 3 feathers in my blonde hair, i have a yellow, a maroon and a stripped black and white one. And i know i love mine! I know many people with feather extensions that are in awkward places in their hair like on the very top where the clamp can be seen holding the feathers to the hair. For me I want my feathers to look like they are naturally entwined within my hair. But i know others who have them as an obvious accessory such as Jenifer Love Hewitt's

But i would absolutely love to put more colorful colors in my hair! These feathers are so easy to work with, I treat mine exactly like my regular hair. I recently just got my hair cut and the lady cutting my hair cut the feathers to match and that was totally cool however when i went home i noticed the end of my feathers were squared off and i didn't like that! So i grabbed my own scissors and pointed the tips, also to piece up feathers I made them different lengths so that other people can see them individually instead of all together. I totally support feathers I'm planning on putting more in my hair, their a bit expensive but if you just order them on amazon and go to any salon they will be happy to throw them in for you!
P.S. This is Marissa's cousin just doing a small guest post :)
